So many companies providing information about their mattresses but there is no specific information about what mattresses are suitable for a slat bed base. Is there a difference in what I should buy?
Had my softish pure latex mattress polluted in this hellhole and moving out and needing to buy a replacement fast. I am elderly and 60 kilograms.
Choice talks about latex but has not reviewed them.
Can anyone suggest? I looked at zanna for a start. Big issue is whether the latex will be far to firm for me, as softish is best for older and youngest people. I have zero difficulty leaping from a low soft bed…I read expert comments that we oldies needed high firm beds so we could get out of them.…
Ikea and Koala both sell affordable mattresses ranging in price from a few hundred dollars to just over $1000. But we wanted to look into which company offers the best service when it comes to delivery, trial periods, returns and warranties.

Definitely never pay anywhere near the asking price as markups are huge! How else could they offer 40-60% off every second weekend???
I was shopping around for a mattress a couple of years ago and found it very hard to compare anything. Exactly what they want to stop you doing. I did notice that quite a few of the model names and descriptions changed from store to store. Yet the mattresses seemed to be very very similar.
