❓ Hard word

Welcome to the forum.

And 7 servings per 1000gm. How confusing…which is 3.64 servings per packet. What is one to do…take a bite of the burger and pass it one…maybe not a good idea in COVID-19 times…

All show and no go?

Or just not fit for purpose?

Freezer shelf label at an Asian market in town … not as bad as it sounds, actually baby CLAMS, without their shells. Still, made me do a double-take.

A rare bit of honesty in a suspected incoming scam email today.

Cottoned on?

Not by the sounds of this disgrace.

Without the ‘actual size’ image on the label we might have been quite surprised to discover how big an aspro on the inside was.

Clearly it is an aid for when the container is empty, and you need to re-buy.
So you can get the right size tablets.
And, and…I want to know what the ‘peel back here’ reveals.

Drum roll… it reveals the back of the label. Glossy white from end to end, top to bottom, unmarked by any print or other colour. I have mixed feelings whether it could be classed as exercise, entertainment, or where to start peeling off the label for recycling the plastic bottle.

The back of the label is easily visible when the bottle is moved about to shift the well hidden aspros, requiring the ‘actual size’ image.

edit: Realising there were no instructions on the label and although tried many times to no avail, I finally was able to peel the outer label from an inner label that had the mandated ‘facts’ and dosage information. So not quite as fun as it first appeared.

‘$10 Cashback on tap and pay purchases’ accompanied by an animation of repeatedly tapping and earning $10 each time.

Limit of $10/month

Not quite. Each tap and go is a 1% cash back. The total for a month cannot exceed $1000 so the limit is $10 dollars. Which is precisely the $10 monthly account fee for the Platinum debit card versus the standard one which has a $0 monthly fee.
Clever banks. They are a never ending source of inventiveness.

Even more interesting since the image very clearly shows a lovely $10 note coming out of each tap

You know the drill. An “*” trumps everything. Graphics designers don’t necessarily bother with reality.

Asahi
Super Dry Black - Soukai - Black - Soukai - Black - Soukai - ………?

Sometimes it’s hard to make your mind up!

P.S.
For those not familiar Super Dry Black and Soukai are two different Asahi beers. As close to each other as red wine is to white. The bottle has a black cap from one and a paper label from the other. A Soukai cap is white.
Collectors item, or a novelty item it came in a carton of Soukai, so no need to guess which.

The below nutritional information is from a bottle of Master Foods tomato sauce. A 15 mls serving includes 124 mgs of sodium, whilst 100 mls apparently includes 24,800 mgs of sodium.

Similar errors can be found on labels for many of the company’s product.

Though it’s origin is Asian, even if packaged as a Coles own brand.
