Tried getting a quote on line from Youi. Got though all the questions then it stopped and said someone would ring me. They were quick to ring back but then most of the questions were asked again, a few new ones. I said look this is taking me too long I just want the price, more questions followed. I finally got the quote and it was almost double what my existing insurer quoted. Never use or get a quote from Youi, Choice BTW don’t recommend them either, they are right.

That reflects my experience not many years ago; I take their advertising as nothing but puffery. Youi was a scripted time wasting exercise re quotes.

My last renewal was coming up and I received an uninvited green slip quote from YOUI which was good enough to renew with them.
Also an invitation to renew my comprehensive with them when it became due.
So went through all the details online, but when the time came to push the button for a quote it became compulsory for them to ring me (for the hard sell no doubt) so that was it for me.
