Just received a text message from Telstra stating that some ZTE devices would be not available due to a supply issue . I have a ZTE phone . They advised me that support for the phone would be on going . Found the following link .
I know their has been concern over this Chinese brand in the US and they were put on the banned list regarding chipsets from Intel . It may only be a coincidence but in the last 2 weeks every 2nd day or so the my ZTE mobile receives a voice call . It seems to be a recorded message in Mandarin . Comes up unknown number on the screen . Has anybody else received these calls on a ZTE phone . I presume it is Mandarin but could be the Ning Po dialect . Very similar .
