VultrioX/TheGardenMate line trimmer head is currently being widely advertised on social media, as a solution to the nylon cord cutting heads. The are sold directly from Qinux VultrioX/Gardenmate, on Amazon, and Chinese selling platforms. It claims it lasts longer than nylon cords, is more durable, but fails to advise they are a dangerous piece of kit.
Do not buy as this is an extremely dangerous product.

They are a cheap metal trimmer head, which will release metal fragments when used. These fragments can cause injury to users and anyone nearby (family members, pets, pedestrians etc).
The metal fragments could result in cuts and abrasions, metal lodgment in or under the skin, loss of eye sight, and even death if the head fails and hits one at high speed (such as ricocheting off something nearby as high speed).
If you have been conned into buying this product due to its marketing, stop using it immediately.
This product is extremely unsafe and shonky, and like chain type trimmer cutting heads, should never be used due to safety risks.
Chain type trimmer cutting heads have been banned in some countries, but, like the above wire cutting heads, are still available for purchase online.
Edit: Not only is the use of such line trimmer heads dangerous, their use is also likely to damage the line trimmer they are attached to. These heads can be unbalanced and are significantly heavier than nylon cord heads. The extra loads and stresses on the line trimmer has the potential to cause catastrophic damage to the line trimmer. As the heads are sold by foreign sellers online, the likelihood of getting any recourse for injuries or damage is next to zero.
To make matters worse, they are being sold by scammers (VultrioX and TheGardenMate).
