Tooubuy is currently marketing through many social media platforms. Many of their products are cheaply made Chinese products which do not do what is advertised. For example:
The advertising for these glasses claim they are smart AI glasses which automatically change the lenses focus (autofocus) to meet one’s eyesight. These are a sham product which are cheaply made multi-focal glasses which aren’t smart or AI.
It has been scored as a likely scam shopping site, such as:
There are many online reports of disgruntled consumers who have bought from Tooubuy and been extremely dissatisfied with what was received (e.g. bought something only to receive a cheap plastic toy) or feel they have been scammed (product isn’t what was advertised).
The Tooubuy website has many red flags which suggests it isn’t a trustworthy or honest business.
Do not buy anything from Tooubuy, you will be scammed.
It is also possible, like other scam websites, Tooubuy harvests personal and payment details (e.g. car payment details) to use for unauthorised transactions or to sell onto criminals.
