Tell us your experience with Bupa

My husband has had 2 surgeries in the last 9 months. One was to lift his eyelids so he could see better and we were $ out of pocket for the surgeon and $ for the anaethetist. it was day surgery. The other was for torn rotator cuff and was overnight stay. We are in top hospital and extras and have been for many years. At the time we had just changed to NIB. We found out they have no gap with a lot of NSW surgeons but not a lot in Victoria. We have changed now to BUPA and have yet to have an oper…

We have been with NIB for over 15 years had no trouble or problems on claims etc
They do have Doctors/Surgeon/Dentist that are allied to them and you pay less but unfortunately none are handy or recommended by our GP
They are a bit pricey with their cover but I ring around get quotes and go back they match or beat my best price , why they cannot put out their best price without the loyalty tax eludes me
