Survey businesses legitimacy questions

The concern about this is it may be seen to be in breach of a banks service terms and conditions which state passwords/login credentials/codes must never be shared with anyone…and you become liable for any losses which may occur as a result…

See Westpac Terms and Conditions here… particularly section 13 page 54 on when you will be liable…

The key wording being…

You will be liable for actual losses resulting from unauthorised transactions caused by the user:
voluntarily disclosing any of their codes to anyone, including a family member or friend; or…

Every banking institution I checked have similar terms and conditions. This should be a compelling reason not to provide such information to another party, even if they are legimate, because if their systems are breached, you will be liable for any losses (e.g. money stolen) from you bank account as you shared your login details. One would have to have ‘rocks in their head’ to think it was a good idea…DON’T DO IT.
