we have received a quote for a split system A/C and heating units. 4 in all. Price seems good, but a quick review would indicate SPT (Smart Power Tech) have only just got into the A/C scene (Oct 2024). (They have had Hot Water Systems previously).
The marketing (as you would expect) shows some nice features, installed price looks quite good too.
Has anyone installed these or knows anything about them.

Smart Power Tech appears to be a relatively new business as their ABN was only registered mid 2023. Being a new business doesn’t necessarily mean one shouldn’t use them, as every business starts at some time.
If you have any concerns, I would ask them for contact details for references of customers where they have recently done work (esp reverse cycle aircon installs). A reputable business should be able to give you contacts allowing you to check their performance. Performance relating to quality of work, timeliness, communications etc.

What is the main advantage of this system? Seems to be very quick cool-down? If that’s all then, there is only marginal benefits I’d be staying with know Japanese brands like Mitsubishi, Fujitsu & Daikin.
