Shonky Product Change - Streets Blue Ribbon
Streets Blue Ribbon Ice Cream is now a “Frozen Dairy Dessert”. The only indication of the change is the product description on the side of the container. The front and back are exactly the same.
It is a totally different product and vastly inferior in my opinion. Not only is the taste and texture different, but of most concern is that the new product is higher in saturated fat, sugars and sodium. In addition, the amount of protein has decreased. No change in price of course.
I believe this is misleading and deceptive. Many consumers would not even realise that they have purchased a different product, until of course they taste it and start reading the product information.
I’ll never buy the product again.
