From today the country of origin of the seafood served must be shown on the menus of the hospitality businesses.
July Patty, GM of the Seafood Industry, lobbied for the change to enable consumer to make an informed choice; 64% of seafood is actually imported.
The labels are A (Australian) - I (Imported) - M (Mixed)
Only exclusions: Schools, Hospitals, and Prisons.
