Purchased a Russell Hobbs kettle last week which was leaking at the base of the level gauge. Returned it promptly to Officeworks. Bought another of the same model “Quiet Boil”, found it leaking too, in the same spot. This leaves me with; the brand is now deemed rubbish. May I suggest Choice remove the kettle from 2nd best out of 72 to somewhere else

We had a similar issue with a Nobel + Smith kettle from Harris Scarfe. Leaked from near the on/off switch at the base when first used. Took it back and staff in the store said they have had a few returned by others with the same problem. Got a refund.
One wonders why they were persisting with selling it. Anyway, noticed a few weeks later it disappeared from their website. Looks like they finally got the message.
