I wonder if this is allowed? I suppose it is ‘legal’ … but

I’ve logged in to buy my RACV Earlybird Melbourne Show tickets. $72.

Then I am charged a $1 transaction fee. I always thought transaction fees were to recover costs associated with making the transaction.

But then I ALSO get hit with a 2.5% credit card fee!

Ripped off. Yes, it’s still cheaper than the gate price. But not as great a deal as it used to be… :frowning:

Hi @tamara2,
That sounds a bit high, especially now that merchants are now restricted to the cost of processing the transaction. The new surcharging rules have only recently come into effect though, so we’re these additional fees begin to disappear.
