After seeing a couple of stores with hardly any stock in the last months and signs saying “we are not closing, just waiting for stock” an email arrived today saying they are shifting to online sales.

It appears some Riot stores are closing temporarily, and some have become victims of the lockdowns. It seems the answer depends on a store by store query.

Comments seem to agree with talkback radio I heard in Perth (no lockdown) where staff got text message after work on Monday saying stores are closed and there is no money to pay outstanding wages and leave entitlements.

It appears that all Riot stores have closed permanently.
What a low act to simply text the employees to tell them that they were out of work.
Perhaps they were not game enought to tell them in person in case they literally had a riot.
