Small first aid kit with first aid supplies to assist a consumer treat a minor first aid incident. The kit includes a thermometer which is the subject of the recall.
The battery compartment may not be adequately secured allowing possible access to the button battery if the product is dropped on a hard surface.
If young children gain access to the button batteries and ingest them, they may suffer internal burn injuries, which can result in serious illness and even death. In addition, the batteries may pose a choking hazard to young children.
