No, this is an insurance policy that in return for a one off payment extra to the purchase price will agree to fix accidental damage as per the contract.
Read the T&Cs (post #113)ā¦namelyā¦the What This Warranty Does Not Cover. There are enough exclusions to drive a truck through so they can dishonour any claim made under the extended warranty.

No different to any other insurance policy. Lots of inclusions and exclusions and fine print.
