There’s been a sharp rise in the number of privacy complaints about energy retailers, many relating to perpetrators of family violence gaining access to “private information without consent”. Now advocates are calling for essential services providers to do more.

Australian Privacy rules seem to be a joke. Often the Businesses/Companies/Entities that offer the Privacy policies give themselves so much leeway that an oil tanker could sail through the gaps.
