Non-delivery Problem With Apple Online Store

Tried to purchase a magic keyboard for my iPad Pro early September paid using my Apple ID and the product was shipped to the opposite side of the continent to me. When I complained Apple support asked for a statutory declaration and a police report. Luckily for them Coffs Harbour Constabulary do not prosecute companies for gross incompetence and customer torture.
They have my money, a lot of it, I do not have the goods and they are not contacting the person they shipped the product to or me. Lodged a complaint with fair trading today.
This saga is now in its 20th day

Your experience sounds terrible.

Have you been able to identify how the wrong shipping address was used?
Can you confirm you ordered direct from Apple’s online store, or was there another vendor involved?

If you paid using a credit card are you aware you may be able to recover the cost through a charge back?
