I see that the Choice wireless modem reviews include evaluation of their ability to transmit over short and long distances and through wall, but these tests were not performed on the NBN gateways provided by the telcos. It would be really useful to add this, so that people living in 2 storey houses can see whether the modem that our telco will provide is adequate, or if we should buy our own.
