LED light bulbs: should CHOICE keep testing them? - #43 by mark_m

Our home has been predominantly LED since 2016. We have LED down lights in the main living areas. 2-4 hrs per night typical. And others with BC/ES base bulbs.

We’ve had zero failures with the integrated LED products. And variable results with the BC/ES base bulbs. It has been the LED replacement bulbs that are fitted in enclosed luminaires that have the shortest lives.
