I think it’s ok to dress up a dog if the dog is comfortable and happy about it and it won’t over heat or hurt the dog in some other way. I put Christmas bandanas on mine which probably isn’t really “dressing”. The dressed dogs mostly enjoying the extra attention.

I’ve dressed up my dog only twice, both for Halloween. She doesn’t mind outfits but she does not like anything on her head.

There is a veterinary campaign around this theme… it is not funny when you cause stress to an animal, such as dressing up a cat or dog for a social media post. Pets are not playthings, and doing this can create genuine stress, anxiety and fear. Please don’t share or like these kinds of posts. Thank you
