Internet in Europe

I’m about to travel to Europe and UK for four months. Since Brexit there seems to be confusion about if a SIM card bought in Europe will work in UK. Anyone with any experience of this or suggestions would be appreciated.

I went to the UK and Denmark last year and bought an e-sim card through Airalo (I used it in NZ recently too). If you have a newish phone with e-sim capability, it’s an easy, cheap option for data only. And you can top up if you use a lot of data.

Hi,
In Europe at the moment and Airalo works well.
Got the eSIM online in Australia and installed it before I went to the airport. Activated itself automatically when the plane landed in London.
Worked also in Germany, Austria and Netherlands.
In case you want a actual phone number, have a look at Vodafone prepaid when you arrive at a European airport.
(if you go with Airalo, please remember to install it at home already where you have stable wifi)
