CHOICE could make super complaints (e.g., CHOICE launches airline super complaint) before but I don’t think the response had to be public. Now with a public response, I think greater pressure would be on the ACCC to at least try to make a decent effort to address whatever concern was raised. If the ACCC failed to give a decent response, well it might face increased outcry about its until now fairly opaque investigations.
