The ABC News website has an article today regarding Flight Centre exploiting customers and staff which will be featured on the ABC 7:30 program tonight.
Perhaps it will reveal an alternate reason as to how the principal earned his nickname.

I admit I’ve never used this kind of company - they seem like the travel equivalent of ticket scalpers, but somehow legitimate - having been loosely involved with the online experience of a similar company/competitor the news doesn’t really come as a surprise …
