We have an Epson Perfection V500 flat bed photo scanner. It is cantankerous, pernickety, and fiddly.
This sounds like a vast improvement.

We could have done with a scanner in this format when archiving the extended family collection.
We used two Canon flatbed scanners, one with a high quality slide and film scanner. A labour of love and many days.
It would be useful to compare the results of the Epson product using a print with a quality scan of the original 35mm negative. Colour matching might be one obvious difference?
