Dark patterns tip line

Peak US consumer body Consumer Reports has launched a ‘Dark patterns tip line’ focusing on websites ‘hard-to-find settings, confusing language, and complex interfaces often lead people astray’.

I don’t think this was sneaky. Just an example of a form being created with the ‘required’ instruction in the wrong place.
