I watched two reports on the ABC which showed how cruelly pigs are killed in Australia. I suggest that Choice start a campaign to humanise the slaughtering methods here, same as they do it in New Zealand. Meanwhile we should stop buying pork until the slaughtering methods have been introduced. I have not bought pork since I saw the first report.

I believe the ABC programs were not claiming that all (pig) abattoirs were cruel to the animals, and perhaps not all that used CO2 either; only some.
So while I agree with reviewing how all abattoirs operate, it would be unfair to the pork industry at large to have a stop eating pork campaign.
