Got to love it!
I had a laugh, and then I followed the link to the Twitter post showing the absurdly poor user interface for the Hawaii state emergency warning broadcasts.
No surprise at all that some poor minion clicked the wrong link ( no physical button or switch, just a link on a screen ).
When the link is clicked and nothing happens a message pops up ‘AN UNEXPECTED ERROR HAS OCCURRED. [OK]’.
Clicking OK they get an 800 number to ring. [ring, ring, ring, ring, … ring…]
Answer: Your call is very important but we are experiencing a higher than normal call volume. If you are in the civil defence and experiencing a need to send warnings about incoming missiles press 1 other wise you are number 3,720 in the queue and we will be with you in about 2,226 hours.

There’s only so much you can do when the company themselves don’t understand
