I rang my private health insurer (of almost 29 years) today and explained that I thought it was a very bad time to seek a premium increase while the country was suffering through the worst economic and health crises for at least 100 yrs. They gave me an extra discount which almost covered the premium increase. I urge all people with private health insurance to express their feelings to their own insurer and to the Health Minister and PM. This should not be happening.
