Bruschetta With Smoked Garlic

I have often noticed smoked garlic in the fruit & veggie section at our local Supa IGA. It would be hard to miss as I can smell it from the next row of produce.

I scored 4 packs of Coles delicious Cocktail Truss Tomatoes marked down to just 45 cents each so we decided to use some for Bruschetta.

I bought a knob of smoked garlic and some Thai basil from Johnson’s Farm Market yesterday. Their smoked garlic was not as strongly scented as the smoked garlic at our local Supa IGA.

We made the Bruschetta last night using Coles Finest Sourdough Vienna and it was the nicest Bruschetta we have ever eaten. The smoked garlic really raised it to another level.

We used the Taste recipe below but we used Mazzetti balsamic and we left out the sugar.
