Bone Fragments in K-roo Mince

In a packet purchased from Woolies toward the end of last year there were at least two very small and sharp bone fragments in the mince.

Being just an occasional user of the product over some years (perhaps 7 or 8), do recall just one fragment 3 or 4 years back, might have mentioned it to Coles staff from where it was purchased at the time. The product consists of 100% mince most of the time, nevertheless a bone fragment warning might help those unsuspecting consumers who generally go about consuming the tasty mince with gusto, given the bones are sharp and very hard and so have the potential to crack crowns and tooth enamel.
Most of the time it’s fine when swallowing the fragments (they are very small), here’s a precis on what could go wrong:

Well that is undesirable in any product that is not supposed to have bones in it. Be it mince, or fish fillets, and others.

If the place you bought it from shrugs their shoulders and ignores the issue, then take it to the manufacturer for their attention.

Note Woolies provides a proactive response to product issues that present a potential safety issue.

Coles also have options to report issues with products they sell. Unable to provide a link at present due to their site returning an error at this time.

P.S.
Raising an issue directly with the supplier/manufacturer may deliver a satisfactory outcome. Following the ACL and going back to the retailer/seller - it’s potentially no longer just one consumer the manufacturer needs to respond to. Especially if it’s ColesWorth and they have more than one such customer complaint. Making the retailer part of the problem puts the retailer in a better position to apply their quality processes to the manufacturer/supplier in question. In comparison as individual consumers we represent just a sample of one.
