‘PAIN FREE AUSSIES’ Avoid this fraudulent business!
AVOID THIS ‘COMPANY’. I purchased for $115 (on sale), two pairs of shoes. I have back, hip and knee issues and had been searching for walking shoes that would be supportive. After delayed shipping and no ability to track the shoes, they arrived in plastic bags, without logos, branding, labels, sizes (except a sticker on the bags). The shoes were different sizes, didn’t fit, very uncomfortable, and smelled heavily of petro chemicals. I took a photo of them and did an image search and found that these are cheap unbranded mass produced shoes that you can buy on Temu and the like for far less. I emailed them straight away to return them and after MANY emails back and forth trying to gas light me and lots of fraudulent claims about their T & C’s which broke Australian consumer laws, they finally sent me a return shipping label. I sent the shoes back which they received and then was contacted again via email and phone (an American number…the Australian number listed on their website just rings out), saying that they have the shoes and can process the refund right away if I amend my review on Trust Pilot. I told them I wouldn’t do that until the situation was completely resolved, and since then they have almost completely disappeared and 5 days later there is still no refund or pending refund in my account. This company is operating as an Australian business to try to gain peoples trust but in reality they do not operate from here and they are charging inflated prices for cheap crappy junk. And until they return my money, they are committing theft and fraud. I’ve reported them to my banks fraud department and Consumer Affairs so hoping they get flagged as a fraudulent business so more people can see what a scam they are running.
