I agree. Among the environmental devastation this industry has created, it is really high in saturated fat which is arguably bad for your health.
We as consumers have a right to know what is in our food and what we spend our money on, regardless of the impact it has on companies. It may force better change within said organisations.
Some companies such as Coles home brand have taken steps to label palm oil in their products and source ‘ethically’ where possible. These brands should be supported through positive reinforcement, ie our wallets and complements to them and their social media pages.
