Earth day April 22

This is an annual event, people in many countries around the world are involved in educational and community activities.
It’s obvious from the many threads in the Choice community forum that we share a deep love and concern for our troubled planet, our beautiful Earth, although there are differences of opinion on the best way to look after it.

Today is a reminder of how important it is to care for the environment, for our amazing planet. We can show our gratitude by doing our humble best towards that goal.

Worth celebrating.
These guys achievements at scale make our efforts of progressing regeneration a fraction of an acre each year modest.

Is it on the same date every year?
Our bush telegraph didn’t inform us this year till after the event :kissing:

Yes, every year on the 22nd of April.
Started in 1970 in the US and the date suited University timetables over there.
It has now become one of the largest environment movements in the world.

To me it is a day of celebration, a reminder to be thankful for our beautiful planet Earth.
