When I hear ours I know it’s time to partake in our cashless economy. Home grown bananas, loquats etc. They seem to know when the first of each bunch is at that special stage of ripening. Reality is we are far more likely to be infected through exposure to diseases carried or spread by domesticated animals, insects etc than native bats.
