An interesting article regarding research into Iridium being trialled in killing cancer cells.
After reading about Iridium, I saw that it is actually 77 on the Periodic Table, and not 66 as was claimed when the Iridium satellite network was launched in the 1990’s.
It was said that the name Iridium was chosen as there are 66 operational satellites in the system and Iridium was 66 on the Periodic Table.
Perhaps Iridium should change the name of their satellite network to Dysprosium.

An Australian company has developed a virus that can kill all types of cancer.
An article which claims that the lifetime risks of cancer in Australia are overstated.
