I bought an Aldi petrol driven lawn edger on a Saturday special deal, $189. It started first pop after adding petrol and oil but it has insufficient power, the blade keeps stopping. Also there was a small note on the outside of the box I did not notice till I got home " not suitable for curved edges". My test was on straight edges though.

I returned it to Aldi and they were brilliant, no fuss, very professional, my thanks for that!

Interesting @davidlcleland.

We bought one of their self-propelled Briggs & Stratton engined lawnmowers ($389 I think) and it is brilliant. It terms of features and performance it compares to the mowers of at least double the price.

We have returned things to Aldi as well, and they have also refunded without a fuss.
