A review of my new kettle: Westinghouse 1.7L WHKE11K

I bought this kettle yesterday as part of a set: ‘Westinghouse 1.7L kettle and toaster pack’.

I filled it and boiled it twice. I carefully did not overfill. After that it no longer worked and shorted the power in the house every time I used it. I shall be taking it back and looking for a better brand. I notice Choice have no reviews of Westinghouse kettles and hope this can be used as one. Not impressed!

I am sure they have tested , we bought a Russell Hobbs based on the test , it was the quietest

For clarity there were no Westinghouse kettles in the current Choice kettle test.

The Russell Hobbs one we got was the the top one of that brand and second on the “Recommended” list
Yeah and as PhilT says no Westinghouse kettles were tested
