I’m not convinced. Anything we discover, find or invent that has value soon goes to an OS owner. Benefit to Aussie consumers is often debatable.

Even the black box flight recorder in it’s latest version is an overseas product, and the history less black and white. It has a long history before and after the Aussie version from the 1950’s. Yes it’s also a sort of orange red colour.

The American Invented Black Box (FDR) received a patent in 1953.
