Basil, oregano, mint etc. Mint is really nice, especially in tea.

Completely based on taste. I cannot stand Coriander/Cilantro and to me Vietnamese mint has the same background taste, just worse. My taste buds may be way off but that is what I think.

Your taste buds are your own. How they work and what you end up liking is complex and not likely to be exactly the same as anybody else. Both experience and genetics have a role. I would never suggest anybody grow herbs that they do not enjoy - unless there was money in it of course.

Coriander is well known as a herb that divides us, the reason has been mentioned here I think but it is well published on he web if you can’t find it.
