Hi @Euey, I had a win with my head unit.
Kia just reimbursed me just under $3k for the purchase and fitment of an aftermarket unit.
This followed two hard-copy letters from me to the GM of Kia Aust and after seeking legal support that was going to seek a 100% refund for the car. We didnt get that far thankfully as Kia must have thought it was cheaper to replace my unir than fight in court.
The new head unit doesnt have a DVD player but it has provision for one to plug in. Importantly though, it works and I have some confidence that it will last longer than the six months I have gotten out of every factory unit fitted.
