Hi, as soon as I receive anything regarding confirming my address etc I delete. I get approximately 100 crude, casino and wow you’ve won!! emails daily including a great “please confirm” so they all get deleted immediately. Damn annoying. Now getting Insurance scams, it just never ends. Rosemary

Sounds like it is time for a new email address! I’ve only had to do that once, close to 20 years ago now.

ebay is nudging paypal aside and demanding ownership of information, or sellers can bugger off.
The implications for seller protection are many, not counting privacy and security issues. The buyers’ experience seems not to have changed, at least not yet.
