I reckon Netregistry is a prime candidate for a Shonky. Quite apart from their reputation for atrocious service, Netregistry has a history of misappropriating funds from customers’ accounts and bullying attempts to extort undue payments. In my case they misappropriated funds then, when I recovered what they’d stolen, broke our contract by suspending service.
