Something worth noting, if you are with a Royal Automobile Club (RACQ, RACV, RACT, NRMA, RACV etc), or other similar clubs that often have member discounts, check to see if they offer gift cards at a discount.
An example is that many of the RACs offer Woolworths eGift Cards at a 4% discount, which can be redeemed for in store or online purchases. Purchasing these cards mean that you shop (if you shop regularly at the retailers where discounts can be enjoyed), you automatically get 4% off your usual supermarket purchases.
There are also cards for other retailers (including others in the Woolworth’s group) which also offer discounted card purchases.
It may be worth exploring to help minimise any impact of current increases in the cost of living.
