Welcome to the Community @RumbleZ,

Please understand the Community is not a place to seek (or provide unless one is a licensed practitioner) personal legal or financial advice.

Other than responses previously given to others who have experienced problems with CND there is not much to add. Reading your long and detailed post suggests you made a lot of assumptions to your detriment.

When a person gives an authority for debiting it depends on whether it was a bank debit or a credit card debit. Stopping such debits requires different formalities in each case. It is possible the only way you can stop withdrawals is to change your bank, not always just your account.

All I can suggest is to put your post in the form of an Australian Consumer Law Letter of Complaint (search the net and the Community for the many links and tools to do so) to attempt a final, documented resolution, and/or to consult legal advice. If you are unable to afford legal advice there are options, again linked in a number of Community responses you can find through the Community search tool.

Good luck getting it sorted.
