Aussie Broadband - International Calls

What possible motive would a phone service provider have for deliberately making some numbers unavailable and so reducing the service they provide? Have you asked them about this problem? What did they say?

I don’t know about “deliberate”, but there are odd situations. My daughter has a VoIP “landline” and can make calls on it, many people can’t ring her but some can. Some get an engaged signal and some get a message. I can ring her VoIP on my VoIP connection but not from my mobile. I have suggested (strongly) that she do something about it, or let me do something about it, but she uses mobile phones for all calls and can’t be bothered. The VoIP service is the same as mine, pay for calls only so not really needed. There doesn’t seem to be any pattern to who can get connected and who doesn’t.
