Hi @Gen, you are not alone in experiencing Apple’s after sales repair service. Apple tends to treat its customers with contempt and sees them as an opportunity to profit from them.
It is highly likely that when you send the iPad to Apple for assessment, they will say it can’t be fixed or financially unviable to get fixed, and push you to buy a new/reconditioned iPad as a replacement. Making money from you in the process. They then fix your iPad to onsell to someone else.
Very shonky and not good customer service. It also is against the spirit of the Australian Consumer Law (which Apple has been pulled up on the the past by the ACCC).
