Indoor air problems include (but are not restricted to):-
- Mould (invisible as well as visible)
- Carbon dioxide and carbon monoxide (Choice has an excellent article about this in relation to gas stoves etc)
- volatile organic compounds (VOCs) such as solvents in glues and paints, plastics
- air-borne pathogens (bacteria/virus that ‘hitch a ride’ on moisture particles in air exhaled by people with an active infection)
