Woolworths returns policy in action

At the beginning of 2013 I bought a Caffitaly coffee machine from Woolworths. I used it regularly but not every day, and it worked fine.
A couple of weeks ago it started to leak. Upon returning it to Woolworths I was given a brand new machine in exchange for the old one, without being required to produce my receipt, or being asked exactly when I had bought it.
I was impressed at the generous application of Australian consumer law on the part of the young Woolworths employee who served me.


Oh, that’s great that you didn’t need your receipt! It’s great to hear how smoothly the transaction went and that you’re back in the coffee business! :coffee:
