Whats the best brand Noise Cancelling Headphones for Air Travel

I don’t notice eardrum suck, but apparently some do. Eardrum Suck: The Mystery Solved!

We’ve both Sony WH1000xm2 over ear and Bose QC20 in ear. I find for long durations, while noise cancelling not quite as good, the Bose in ear more comfortable. Hardly know I’m wearing them.

Don’t like in-ear headsets, spent a lot on a set of Ultimate Ears years ago, and have never been able to keep wearing them. Give me a set of cans anytime. I currently use some Bauhn (Aldi) over ear bluetooth ones late at night with the AppleTV so as not to disturb the neighbours (our homes were built at the absolute min distance from each other, and the walls are paper thin, you can hear everything). They are noise cancelling to a degree but not like in-ear would be.

I purchased the Sony WH1000XM3 Wireless Noise Cancelling Over-Ear Headphones. JBHiFi was cheap as Amazon , so I went for the bricks and mortar option employing people locally.
